Customer Bulletin Autumn 2017

We are delighted to announce the launch of Identify Online (IDO). This release represents the collective efforts of more than a dozen people to design and build a custom interface and technical infrastructure capable of meeting our customer’s needs today, and well into the future. Not only have we redesigned the interface and upgraded our hosting facilities, but the process of reinventing IDO revealed ways to improve our underlying data structure. The result is better data, better access, and platforms that allow Ringgold to engage a perpetual process of incremental improvement and innovation. Click here to read the full press release.

I want to acknowledge the efforts put forth by customers who contributed their time and feedback during testing and to everyone at Ringgold who engaged this challenge and helped produce a best-in-class database and online interface. Thank you.

Here’s to well-structured data, and powerful search tools – Cheers!  Jay Henry, CMO.

Open Access Master Class: University APCs for Publishers.

Thursday 12 October, 15.00-15.30, Professional & Scientific Information Hot Spot Stage, Hall 4.2 N99.

At research universities, tracking Article Publication Charges (APCs) brings costly inefficiency to the manuscript submission workflow for authors, funders and university staff. VAT and compliance rules overwhelm manual systems that simply won’t scale. What publishers and institutional leadership require is a business-minded application that serves all stakeholders. Find out what a solution could mean to the bottom line for you and your partners too. Presented by Copyright Clearance Center, and chaired by CCC’s Christopher Kenneally, panelists include Ringgold’s Laura Cox.
