Sevier County Public Library System is outfitting its new three-story, 40,000 square-foot King Family Library facility with Bibliotheca RFID solutions, with security gates and RFID tags during the first phase of implementation. Clarksville-Montgomery has replaced its existing EM security gates with two sets of BiblioGate VI dual-aisle RFID security gates. BiblioGate VI recognition system is independent of media type and alignment of the RFID chip while passing through the gates connected to the library’s integrated library system. The BiblioGate Tracker can be used to manage the media which triggered the alarm and release them for further processing. In addition to an acoustic and visual alarm at the gates, secured media are also identified and recorded. The Microsoft Windows® messaging service can be used to send a notification to any computer. In addition, certain settings can also be made directly at the gate.
