VAT on e-journals - cause for concern?

6 Nov 01:   Publishers can (and do) charge VAT on part of a joint print/electronic subscription. There are no rules on how to calculate the proportion however.

RoweCom and divine deal concluded

7 Nov 01:   RoweCom UK Ltd has announced that negotiations with divine inc of Chicago to acquire the RoweCom Group were successfully concluded on 6th November and that all companies within the Group will be merged into divine’s existing worldwide operations.

New environmental Journal from Canada's National Research Council
