Awards winners |
| The international panel of judges will now consider the shortlisted entries and the winners will be announced at the Awards ceremony in London on 3 December 2003. Other awards presented on the night will include the FreePint Award for Innovative Customer Service, the CILIP/Online Information Personal Development Award, the IWR Information Professional of the Year (sponsored by Dialog) and the Lifetime achievement award (sponsored by Innodata Isogen).
Martin White, Online Information Conference Chairman and international panel judge comments: "It is easy to forget that information products and services are the result of the vision, professionalism and commitment of people, not computers. Awards that enable an organisation to acknowledge and reward the role played by its employees are therefore very important in encouraging product and service development and in stimulating the best aspects of commercial competitiveness. The information business, along with the publishing business, is global in concept and delivery." |
