East View

The agreement with East View is designed to boost print and electronic journal sales in Northern Africa, the Middle East, Australia, New Zealand, Eastern Europe, France, Spain, Switzerland and Austria.

Rodney Buhrsmith, chief marketing officer at East View, said, "We currently sell into these markets but only through word-of-mouth and Web searches; this partnership provides East View dramatically broader geographic sales and marketing coverage. This partnership with EMpact will also allow more researchers and scholars throughout the world to learn of the uncommon information from extraordinary places that East View publishes and distributes."

e-libro

According to the agreement with e-libro, EMpact will promote all Spanish language content in the e-libro database - 30,000 titles comprised of e-books, e-journals, articles and theses - in Mexico, Cuba, Central America, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile and Uruguay.

e-libro aims to deliver the most cost-effective solution for providing libraries everywhere with quality Spanish language e-books, e-journals, articles and theses. e-libro offers subscription options to libraries at public, academic, private and government institutions, while providing 12 academic collections as well as US and European literature collections.

e-libro's slogan is 'La Socializacion del Conocimiento', which roughly translates to mean 'the socialisation of knowledge'.
