At Ringgold we simplify and consolidate the processes of information exchange among  libraries, publishers and their partners through:

• Defining a standard for the unique identification of an institution and its relationships with other libraries (Ringgold Identifier)
• Maintaining, classifying and constantly updating a database of organizations  around the world that purchase academic, medical and professional content (Identify)
• Providing an interface to query and update the Ringgold Identify database (OpenIdentify)
• Making available a template RFP and online toolkit for the procurement of library management  software applications (OpenRFP)
• Publishing  news, analysis and commentary on the library automation marketplace, including coverage of vendor products and services (BiblioTech Review).
